Rodeaux is a very short-tempered and arrogant mamodo. He is not above using underhanded tactics to overpower his opponents. Rodeaux is also shown to be verbally abusive to both allies and enemies alike, mainly towards Chita.

Ever since Rodeaux met Chita, he has been constantly yelling at his bookkeeper, to get stronger. Despite this, he does care about her, giving her, her mask to cover her injury, and getting angry when she became even more withdrawn. With his final words, he tells her to live, and fall in love, showing she did matter to him.
